“The Most Beneficial Astrological Configuration of the Century”

The Barbault's Basket/Cradle
(Peaking on July 19-21, 2026)

Heralds “A Splendid Relaunch of Civilization”

As of July 19, 2026, the skies are delivering one of the rarest planetary alignments in modern history: Barbault’s Basket or Barbault’s Cradle. Active from roughly July 15–24 and peaking around July 19–21, this configuration has astrologers worldwide pointing to the optimistic forecast of French astrologer André Barbault, who first identified it back in 1955—more than 70 years in advance.

Barbault described it as “the most beneficial astrological configuration of the century" and envisioned it marking “a splendid relaunch of civilization.

1. What Is Barbault’s Basket/Cradle?

Barbault's Basket is a rare planetary configuration identified decades ago by French mundane astrologer André Barbault. It peaks July 19–21, 2026 (with the tightest alignment around July 20), when four outer planets sit at approximately 4° of their signs on the zodiac wheel:

  • Jupiter at ~4° Leo
  • Pluto at ~4° Aquarius (in opposition to Jupiter)
  • Uranus at ~4° Gemini (sextile to Jupiter)
  • Neptune at ~4° Aries (trine to Jupiter)

The alignment creates a distinctive geometric pattern resembling a basket or cradle: an opposition between Jupiter and Pluto (the “handles” or tension point), supported by harmonious trines and sextiles that weave the planets together like a woven vessel.

This is not an ordinary astrological configuration. Astrologers describe this alignment as an exceptionally rare configuration of these slow-moving giants—even “the first in recorded history”—forming a stable, supportive structure that channels collective energies into constructive flow. Many astrologers see it as a positive and transformative mundane (world-event) alignment with long-term impact on human civilization. André Barbault described it as “the most beneficial astrological configuration of the century."

2. André Barbault: The Visionary Pioneer of Mundane Astrology

André Barbault (1921–2019) was a pioneering French mundane astrologer who devoted his life to correlating planetary cycles with major historical turning points. Born on October 1, 1921, in Champignelles, a tiny village in Burgundy, France, during a solar eclipse, he left school at fourteen and taught himself astrology using his older brother Armand’s library. By 1946, at age twenty-five, he had become a founding member of the Centre International d’Astrologie in Paris.

In 1967, he launched Astroflash — the world’s first commercial computerized horoscope service — with machines installed in Paris’s Gare Saint-Lazare and New York’s Grand Central Terminal. His 1967 book Les Astres et l’Histoire (“The Stars and History”) is considered the foundational text of modern mundane astrology. In 1968, he founded the journal L’Astrologue, and his 1979 masterwork L’Astrologie Mondiale canonized the methodology at the center of this story: the Cyclic Index.

André Barbault was widely regarded as one of the twentieth century's foremost practitioners of mundane astrology—the branch of astrology that studies the influence of celestial bodies on nations and world events rather than individuals. Instead of emphasizing personal horoscopes or birth charts, Barbault devoted decades to studying long-term planetary cycles and comparing them with major historical developments. His work examined the rise and fall of empires, world wars, economic crises, revolutions, and cultural transformations over centuries of history.

Barbault believed that the slow-moving outer planets—particularly Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto—formed cycles that coincided with broad historical developments. Instead of interpreting each planetary aspect individually, he developed a method for measuring the overall closeness of the outer planets to one another—the Cyclic Index. By comparing his planetary index with major historical events, he established the Cyclic Index as a barometer of humanity’s evolutionary rhythms—periods of contraction followed by expansion and rebuilding.

Here are some of his most remarkable predictions, based on his mundane astrology methodology:

1953 – “Serious Crisis in the Soviet Union”:

On January 1, 1953, Barbault published an article in a regional Burgundy newspaper predicting a “serious crisis” in the Soviet system that year, triggered by a Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Libra. Two months later, on March 5, Joseph Stalin died — marking the “serious crisis” and profound shift in the Soviet regime.

1966 – “Revolutionary Cultural Upheaval”:

In an article titled “What Can We Expect from the Coming Years?” published in 1963, Barbault singled out 1965–1966 as a window of revolutionary cultural upheaval, driven by the Uranus–Pluto conjunction in Virgo. His forecast proved remarkably accurate: the period saw major civil rights marches in the United States, the escalation of the Vietnam War and Anti-war movement, the launch of China’s Great Cultural Revolution, European student revolts that culminated in the May 1968 uprising in Paris, and the explosive rise of the global counterculture.

1989 – “The Most Important Reunion of the Twentieth Century”:

In his seminal book Les Astres et l’Histoire published in 1967, Barbault described the years 1988–1989 as hosting “the most important astral reunion of the entire twentieth century" — a rare convergence of Saturn–Neptune, Saturn–Uranus, and Uranus–Neptune cycles. He wrote that “the world will renew itself to give birth to a new society.” The prediction aligned closely with history: the Berlin Wall fell on November 9, 1989, the Soviet Union dissolved shortly afterward, and apartheid began to unravel in South Africa. It was foretold by André Barbault twenty years earlier through his Cyclic Index in mundane astrology.

2008 – Global Financial Crisis:

Barbault also foresaw the global financial crisis of 2008–2010. Through his analysis of Saturn–Uranus–Pluto alignments and related configurations, he identified the period as one of major economic upheaval, debt crises, and systemic breakdown.

2020 – Global Pandemic:

On June 8, 2011, at the age of 89, Barbault made one of his most specific and prescient forecasts. Writing in L’Astrologue — the journal he had edited for over forty years — he warned of a serious risk of a new pandemic around 2020–2021. He pointed to a rare clustering of the five outer planets within roughly 100 degrees, which would pull the Cyclic Index to its lowest point of the twenty-first century, with the Jupiter–Saturn–Pluto conjunction of January 2020 acting as the key trigger.

That essay was published in a print journal in early 2012 and later reprinted in his 2014 book. It was presented in English in the Astrological Journal of the Astrological Association of Great Britain in May 2020 — approximately seven months after Barbault’s death and two months after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020. The Jupiter–Saturn–Pluto conjunction that Barbault had identified as the trigger was exact to within a degree throughout the first quarter of 2020.

These accurate predictions have validated the legitimacy of his mundane astrology methodology. Through his analysis of long-term planetary cycles, Barbault identified the 2026 configuration as the most beneficial astrological configuration of the century" — one that heralds a Splendid Relaunch of Civilization," the dawn of a New Era and the most hopeful chapter of the 21st century.

3. A Long-Awaited Turning Point - “A Splendid Relaunch of Civilization”

In most years, these large slow-moving outer planets are scattered around the zodiac circle, but in July, 2026, most of these planets come together into a compact arc spanning only a fraction of the full circle. This configuration symbolizes numerous historical themes converging into a single great period of transformation. It resembles a basket or cradle filled with planetary "seeds," ready to produce the next stage of civilization. In Barbault’s own words: this alignment marks “a Splendid Relaunch of Civilization.”

Emerging from the contraction and challenges of the early 2020s, the Basket is seen as a cosmic container nurturing new energies—creativity and expansion (Jupiter in Leo), innovative idea breakthrough (Uranus in Gemini), inspired visionary action (Neptune in Aries), and profound systemic transformation (Pluto in Aquarius). Many astrologers interpret Barbault’s Basket as a doorway or sunrise moment: a point of no return where collective focus shifts toward the renewal of civilization and human solidarity.

Whether you follow astrology closely or simply sense a cultural shift toward hope and renewal, Barbault’s Basket offers a compelling narrative: after contraction comes expansion, and after hardship comes a renewed commitment to human flourishing. André Barbault, who passed away in 2019, won’t witness this moment firsthand—but his meticulous research left us a map. As Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto form their rare basket in the sky, the stars themselves seem to whisper his prophecy: a splendid relaunch of civilization is underway.

4. The Historic Fulfillment of the Prophecy: The "Second Coming" of the Peace Messiah for the New Millennium

Many people may have wondered what the "Splendid Relaunch of Civilization" really means? Will AI technology replace human civilization? Will aliens from UFOs force the people on earth to accept a new civilization from another planet?

Actually, these far-fetched ideas are not what André Barbault meant. In his book, Planetary Cycles: Mundane Astrology, André Barbault described the Barbault's Basket as the most beneficent, and its interplanetary partnership will work for the best in a splendid relaunch of civilization. It contains a harmonious relationship between primordial opposites: the coming together of the external and internal, rational and spiritual, mind and soul, and human beings surpassing themselves while experiencing life on a higher level.

This indicates that the "Splendid Relaunch of Civilization" will be a profound renewal of human civilization, with a focus on spiritual uplifting and balanced enhancement of life, both internally and externally. That is precisely what the New Revelation of the "Eternal Gospel" will bring to the world for the New Millennium of Peace and Wisdom.

Over the past five thousand years, God has revealed His Divine Truth to different peoples in various parts of the world. Due to geographical separation and different cultural backgrounds, these Divine Revelations led to the formation of the major religions in the world.  Western religions have often sought external blessings from God and rewards in the afterlife, while Eastern religions have focused more on inner spiritual growth and enlightenment. Each received a portion of the Divine Word suited to their culture, needs, and understanding. Yet this partial comprehension of the Word of God has also fueled religious divisions and conflicts for thousands of years.

Now is the time for humanity to embrace the full picture of the Word of God for both East and West, so that people can receive divine blessings from above while cultivating true spirituality from within. As André Barbault described, this integration will create “a harmonious relationship between the external and the internal” — the essential foundation for ending wars and conflicts in the world.

With the scientific discoveries and technological progress of the last few centuries, many people now seek rational explanations for ancient scriptures in the context of modern issues — issues that many traditional religions fail to address. This has created a conflict between rational discovery and spiritual belief. As a result, many have lost faith in traditional religions and turned instead to secular and sensual pursuits. Some have even lost hope in any spiritual destiny beyond this life. All of this has contributed to widespread turmoil, conflict, and moral decadence, pushing Western civilization toward self-destruction and the catastrophic disasters prophesied for the “End Time.”

It is now time for a “Splendid Relaunch of Civilization” through a new Divine Revelation that renews humanity’s spiritual consciousness and enables people to “surpass themselves while experiencing life on a higher level.” The good news is that the timing of Barbault’s Basket (or Cradle) coincides with the “Second Coming” of the Messiah for the New Millennium, as prophesied in the Bible’s Book of Revelation nearly two thousand years ago. Moreover, this astrological configuration of a “Cradle” matches the visions of two of the most renowned American prophets and psychics of the twentieth century — Edgar Cayce and Jeane Dixon — who foresaw the new “Cradle of Christianity” and the newborn baby in a “Cradle” from the East.

Just as the Star of Bethlehem proclaimed the birth of baby Jesus two thousand years ago, these astrological signs and visions of “Cradle” all pointed toward the same historic event, the birth of the “Second Child” in the Bible (Revelation 12:5) — the Peace Messiah of the “Second Coming” for the New Millennium of Peace and Wisdom. With the “Second Coming” of the Peace Messiah, there will be a New Divine Revelation of the “Eternal Gospel” for “every nation, tribe, language and people” (Revelation 14:6). This New Revelation will resolve past issues and “relaunch civilization” for the New Era of Peace and Wisdom, exactly as prophesied in the Bible’s Book of Revelation as well as in André Barbault's mundane astrology.
