V. The Spiritual Solutions for Permanent Peace and Reconciliation
The conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians has lasted over 100 years since the Jews decided to come back to their home land in the early twentieth century. To reach permanent peace and reconciliation between these two nations, they need to learn the New Revelation of God for the New Millennium.
Here are the three aspects of the spiritual solution to end the conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians and achieve spiritual reconciliation with each other.
1. Eliminate the Hatred in Your Heart
Since the First Middle East War between Arab nations and Israel in 1948-1949, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians fled from their homes or were forced to leave their homes in Palestine. It is understandable that most Palestinians have strong resentment against Israelis. That resentment had been reduced for seven years after the PLO and Israel signed the peace agreement of the Oslo I Accord in 1993. But after Yasser Arafat rejected the two-state proposal by Israel in the Camp David in 2000, the peace process and negotiation between Israel and Palestine broke off and the resentment toward Israel intensified among Palestinians, which led to many suicide bombings against Israeli civilians and Hamas taking the power from Fatah in the Gaza Strip.
During the next 18 years of Hamas’ ruling of the Gaza Strip, it had brainwashed young Palestinians with more hatred toward Israel and the vow to eliminate the State of Israel and kill all the Jews in the Middle East. That genocidal hatred eventually led to the October 7 attacks on Israel and caused over 1200 Israelis killed in the attack. If that kind of resentment and hatred persists, there is no hope for peace between Palestine and Israel. The end result will be more miserable life for Palestinians and eventually the total destruction of the Gaza Strip.
Hatred is the poison in people’s hearts. It will blind people’s eyes to see the goodwill in other people’s effort. It is also a destruction force that will destroy the opportunity for themselves to have a better future. In the end, hatred can only lead to total destruction, not the peace and prosperity that most people hope for.
The best way to eliminate hatred in heart is to learn the Divine Revelation given by Jesus Christ two thousand years ago. Although Jesus was the most influential
Jew in the world history and also recognized as the Prophet of Allah in Islam, most Jews and Muslims have not learned the teaching of Jesus due to the religious conflicts between Christians and Jews/Muslims in the last
two thousand years.
Now, as the Peace Messiah has come with the New Revelation of God for all religions and all nations, it’s time for people to break down the walls between religions and see the Word of God taught in other religions. It’s especially important for both Israelis and Palestinians to learn the teaching of love and forgiveness by Jesus
Christ in the Second Phase of Word of God for the lasting peace and prosperity in Palestine and Israel.
2. Learn the Teaching of Love and Forgiveness by Jesus Christ
When Prophet Moses and Prophet Mohammad received the revelation from God to establish Judaism and Islam respectively, they both received the First Phase of the Word of God which taught their followers to love their brothers and kill their enemies. But when Jesus came with the New Testament of God, he taught people the
Greater Love, not only to love your brother but also to love your enemy, in the Second Phase of Word of God.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus told his disciples:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you,
love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5:43-48)
In the Gospel of Luke, there is a similar teaching of Jesus Christ:
“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat
you... If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same... But love your enemies and do good without expecting anything in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.” (Luke 6:27-49)
These verses of Jesus’ teaching on
"Love Your Enemy" actually are the Second Phase of Word of God above the First Phase of Word of God taught by most prophets in the past. This greater love for your neighbors as well as for your enemies reflects the higher spiritual awareness of Jesus Christ above the rest of prophets in
the Israeli history.
Although this Greater Love in the Second Phase of Word of God is hard to comprehend by most people, especially during the war time, it does carry greater blessing of God for those who can understand it and implement it. That’s the main reason that most western Christian countries have been more prosperous than those non-Christian countries since the Reformation in the sixteenth century and industrial revolution in the 18th-19th century.
Since Jews and Muslims have had religious disagreement and conflicts with Christians for over a thousand years, most Jews and Muslims have not learned the teaching of Jesus on the
Greater Love in the New Testament of the Bible. Because Jesus has the title of the “Prince of Peace” as prophesied by prophet Isaiah in the Old Testament of the Bible (Isaiah 9:6), there would be no peace between Israel and Palestine if they do not learn the teaching of Jesus on the
Greater Love for both your neighbor and your enemies.
Therefore, it’s time for both Jews and Muslims to break down the wall between religions and learn the teaching of Jesus on the
Greater Love in the Second Phase of Word of God so that they can “turn their swords into plowshares and turn their spears into pruning hooks” (Isaiah 2:4). That’s the spiritual solution to bring permanent peace and reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians.
3. Accept the New Revelation of the Eternal Gospel for the New Millennium
Currently, most major religions in the world, like Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism, were established about fifteen hundred to four thousands years ago. Due to the geological isolation in the ancient time, different nations formed different religions through the Divine Revelation of the Word of God based on their
different cultural background and spiritual experience. Therefore, these religions contain only part of the Word of God that suited their needs. That caused major differences between religions, which also led to many religious conflicts and wars in the past thousand years.
This situation is very similar to the ancient parable of the blind men and an elephant. In the parable of blind men and an elephant, a group of blind men who have never come across an elephant before try to learn and imagine what the elephant is like by touching it. The one who touched the trunk of the elephant claimed the elephant like a snake; the one who touched the ear of the elephant claimed the elephant like a fan; the one who touched the leg of the elephant claimed the elephant like a tree; the one who touched the back of the elephant claimed the elephant like a wall; the one who touched the tusk of the elephant claimed the elephant like a spear; and the one who touched the tail of the elephant claimed the elephant like a rope.
Everyone thinks that he is telling the truth through his touching and other people are lying about how the elephant really looks like. Therefore, they started to argue with each other and no one can convince others to believe what he said. In the end, a sighted man enters the parable and describes the entire elephant to these blind men. The blind men then learn that they were all partially correct but did not see the complete picture of the elephant. While one's subjective experience is true, it may not be the totality of truth.
Currently, the situation of the world religions is
similar to the situation in the parable of blind men and an elephant. Everyone believes that only his/her religion is the true religion of God and other religions are either false religions or corrupted religions. That’s the main cause of religious conflicts throughout human history.
Now, the good news is that the Peace Messiah for the “Second Coming” as prophesied in the Bible’s Book of Revelation has come with the New Revelation of the Eternal Gospel for the New Millennium. This New Revelation of the Eternal Gospel will reveal the big picture of the Word of God behind all major religions in the world, which will end the religious conflicts among different religions. It’s time for people to see what God, the Heavenly Father of all people on the earth, had revealed in the past thousands of years to different nations through different religions. This will be the key to ending the religious conflicts and re-solidifying people’s faith in God for the full blessing of God.
With the fast development of new Artificial Intelligence(AI) technologies, the human beings are at the crossroads of either benefiting from the advanced AI technologies for a better future or facing the risk of being replaced or even destroyed by AI robots. Although AI technology is far superior to human intelligence in its computing power, there is one thing that AI technology could never replace - the human spirituality, which was endowed by our Creator, the heavenly father from the higher spiritual dimension.
Currently, most people are indulging in their desire for more
material gains while ignoring their spiritual well-being. That led to endless conflicts among people and nations. If people cannot break away with their insatiable desires
for material gains and seek for higher spiritual consciousness, they will be led to self-destruction by nuclear wars or the out of controlled AI technology.
With the escalation of military conflicts in the Middle East and the intensified war in Ukraine, the whole world is on the verge of World War III, or the Battle of Armageddon as prophesied in the Bible (Revelation 16:16). It could cause a catastrophic nuclear disaster in the world or even annihilate human civilization from the surface of the earth. Only through the Greater Love and faith in God could we avoid such a catastrophe through the blessing and protection of God.
Therefore, it’s time for all nations and all religions to learn the complete picture of the Word of God through the New Revelation of the Eternal Gospel, which is for “every nation, tribe, language and people” as prophesied in the Bible’s Book of Revelation (Revelation 14:6) almost two thousand years ago. Only after people learn the Second Phase of the Word of God in this Eternal Gospel and awaken the higher spiritual consciousness from within, will people end the war and religious conflicts in the world and utilize the advanced AI technology with Greater Love for the New Millennium of Peace & Wisdom.
